Surgery Center

The project consisted of providing A/E services for the design and construction required to fit-out approximately 9,000sf of tenant space on the 2nd floor of the Warehouse at Camden Yards. The specific program included the following: Two Class C Operating Rooms; One Special Procedures Room; Clean (Sterile) and Dirty Instrument Area; Pre-Op and Recovery with Shared Nurses Station; Waiting and Reception Area; Exam Room; Manager’s Office; Toilets, Showers and Changing Areas for Patients and Staff; Mechanical, Electrical, IT and Medical Gas Utility Rooms. Design Collective assisted with the specifications for the waiting room, break room and office furniture. Medical equipment was selected by the Owner. Cut sheets on all selected equipment were provided to the design team during design for coordination.The project was designed to comply with the International Green Construction Code (IgCC) as required by Baltimore City.
