Residence Tower Renovation

Design Collective worked with Towson University on the $24 million renovation of their 13-story Residence Tower. The renovations included upgrading the appearance, functionality and amenities of the building; eliminating existing problems with condensation occurring on the interior of glass window walls, as well as the vertical transmission of smoke, noise and odors from floor-to-floor; upgrading the roof system to obtain warranty renewal and improve the energy efficiency and occupant comfort of the building. The project utilized the Construction Management at Risk delivery method and is LEED Gold Certified.
