Caroline Street Parking Garage

Located on the north west corner of the Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) campus, this 1,600-space parking facility occupies an entire city block and forms a critical gateway to the expanding outpatient center. The eight-story garage, with two below grade floors, is accessible from McElderry and Monument streets.

The 550,000 SF facility is primarily employee parking while freeing up visitor parking in an adjacent 800-car structure. The architecture is a fusion of the exposed concrete structure of this garage with a simple brick grid overlay forming a delicate layering within the façade, while complimenting the extensive use of brick on the JHH Campus. The northern portion of the garage doubles as a base  for a 10-story medical office building.
