Scott Geczi

Scott Geczi has been promoted to Principal and is a leader in the mixed-use residential studio. An architect with over 25 years of experience, he has been an integral team member on many of the firm’s mixed-use residential projects. His expertise in managing and designing complex, urban high-rise, concrete podium and wood-frame construction projects has made him one of the firm’s in-house experts.

Chief Operating Officer, Mike Goodwin added “Having worked with Scott since 2001, I’ve seen Scott consistently lead our teams from Concept Design through construction, balancing design excellence with technical proficiency.  His strong organizational and client management skills make him highly sought after by our legacy clients.  We simply wouldn’t be the same firm without him.”

Scott has been with Design Collective for 21 years. Some of his noteworthy projects include the award-winning 1213 Walnut, a high-rise residential tower for Hines/Goldenberg Group/ASB Real Estate in Philadelphia, PA, and the recently completed and award-winning Aster for the Bozzuto Group in College Park, Maryland.

Following his promotion, Scott said “How fortunate am I to be working with teams of such talented and dedicated people to create amazing spaces and places. I believe good design has the power to transform, yet the most successful projects feel like they have always been there.”

Previously Scott worked as an Associate at Hord Coplan Macht and an architect at BCT Architects. He is a licensed architect and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
