Durham Public Schools selected Design Collective to perform a three-phase feasibility study and phased renovation of the E.K. Powe Elementary School, in support of the North Carolina State Board of Education’s goals to prepare students for the 21st century. The feasibility study will include a comprehensive existing conditions analysis and various stakeholder meetings with faculty, staff, parents and administrators. Upon completion of the study, Design Collective will begin full design services to meet an aggressive project schedule with construction expected to begin in May 2011.
