Design Collective Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of one new Senior Associate and three new Associates.

 Promoted to Senior Associate: 

Lisa Corrado, CID

A highly talented and certified interior designer with over 12 years of experience, Lisa has been a vital team member on many mixed-use residential projects. Among her recently completed projects are the award-winning multi-family buildings Arrowwood for LCOR in North Bethesda, MD, and Sage for LCOR at National Landing in Arlington, VA. Currently in construction, Lisa is working on Envoi in North Bethesda, MD with LCOR as well as the new headquarters for the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County in Silver Spring, MD. Other current cultural and higher education projects in design include the B&O Railroad Museum and a student housing renovation project for Morgan State University.

Those promoted to Associate include:

Bianca Marchany, CID, LEED AP ID+C

An experienced and certified interior designer with over 10 years of experience, Bianca is a high-energy executor on an array of projects from higher education and housing projects to workplace environments. Currently, she is designing over 450,000 SF of work and amenity space for the Maryland Department of Health, addressing highly complex departmental programming requirements. Bianca recently worked on a visioning study for the Douglass Student Center at Rutgers University leading to a formal feasibility package and renovations to the Women’s Lacrosse Team Room at Loyola University Maryland.

PJ (Philip) Benenati, PLA, ASLA

A landscape architect with over 18 years in practice, PJ has extensive experience in the design and construction of mixed-use development, streetscape and public open space design, as well as charrette-based master planning. PJ is currently working on The Annex, an adaptive reuse, exterior renovation, and addition, converting a historic office building into a modern residential development overlooking the National Mall in Washington, DC. In addition, PJ is currently collaborating with Prince George’s County on the Blue Line Corridor Civic Plaza in Largo, MD. He also recently led a 6-month intensive public outreach and engagement effort with M-NCPPC Montgomery Planning for a placemaking intervention/event in Damascus, MD.

Robin Rodowsky, Assoc. AIA

Robin has been an integral team member on several of the firm’s projects with over 9 years of experience as an architectural designer to her credit. Among her recently completed projects is Makers Rise, a new transit-oriented mixed-use multifamily building for Crimson Partners in Herndon, VA. Robin is currently working on the South Car Shop Redevelopment for the B&O Railroad Museum in the historic Pigtown neighborhood of Baltimore. She is also working on several projects to enhance visitor experiences for the National Aquarium in Baltimore and Cape May Park & Zoo in Cape May, NJ.
